Installation guide
From the plan to the wall
Mark the height
Measure vertically from the finished floor. A laser level makes repeated heights much easier.
Check before drilling
Confirm wiring, plumbing and fixing suitability. Use properly rated anchors for the wall type and frame weight.
Basic tools
Masking tape, tape measure, pencil, level, hammer and picture hooks.
Optional
Ladder, laser level and safety glasses.
For a heavy frame
Stud finder with live-wire detection, drill with suitable drill bits, felt or rubber frame pads, and a second person.
